In 2012, I used to introduce myself as an Instructional Designer, but hardly anyone really understood what that meant. So, I started saying, "I'm an education professional." The inevitable response was, "Oh, are you a teacher?" Explaining it was complicated. I studied many things (I'll tell you more about that later), but back then, I was convinced I was pursuing one of the careers of the future. Turns out, I wasn’t. We are in the future now, and that career has evolved.
Today, after many years, a global pandemic, and rapid technological advancements, more people understand what instructional design is… but what it was, it no longer is. Well, sort of. Even now, the tax office classifies me as a Digital Marketing Specialist because there is no official category for learning and development, eLearning, or digital training in the corporate world.
After all these years of experience working with global teams across different countries and industries, if I had to define myself, I’d say I’m passionate about education, marketing, neuroscience, and technology. Yes, all these fields are part of what I do: designing learning experiences that transform people and organizations. A little bit of this, a little bit of that. A cocktail of skills where creativity, critical thinking, humanities, and technology intertwine to create impact.
I have dedicated my career to education. For me, learning is about designing journeys—experiences where people don’t just follow a content roadmap but integrate all dimensions of their being—soul, mind, and body.
The world is changing fast, and so are technologies and organizations. That’s why I decided to create this space—a reflection of my own exploration to grow as a professional in this modern world.
It is this belief that drives me every day, whether I’m designing an innovative eLearning program, implementing cutting-edge technologies, or exploring new ways to make learning truly transformative.
My mission is to design experiences that create a profound impact on individuals and organizations, driving their growth and transformation.
Experiences that integrate education, neuroscience, and cutting-edge technologies to develop the essential competencies of today’s world, fostering character development, strengthening creativity, and driving innovation.
